Alex Collector: a fine gentleman to do business with

What a pleasure it was buying two watches from this gentleman: a Tudor P01 and a salmon dial mini sub for my wife. Not only was the experience extremely professional and friendly, but he even indulged me in a phone call about watches for over an hour. The watches came in a very timely manner, were well packaged and there were absolutely no disappointment. How could there be? This gentleman takes copious high quality photos of all his watches and includes a detailed and concise description of the watch condition. How refreshing after years of looking at watches on C24, C&C, ebay where it seems the sellers all have potatoes for cameras (presumably to hide swirls and dings). Not Alex. Once the items were shipped, he was on top of the whole process and did not rest until he knew I had received the watches.

I really like Alex. I enjoyed talking vintage watches with him. I hope someday to meet him in person although we are on opposite sides of the country.
