SS Daytona (1997) Zenith
Would a 1997 Zenith SS White face be considered vintage?

Not by purists..
Usually it needs to meet some criteria.. . Some insist that it must be acrylic crystal (personally I think this is silly since Sapphire has been around since the early 70's) . There used to be a 25 year minimum... at that time all watches were acrylic . Some believe that it should also be discontinued, or at least that particular reference within the same model.. So, your Daytona is barely over 10 years old and the only thing that has been discontinued is the use of the Zenith movement.. Most would likely say that it is a fine earlier example, but far from being "vintage". But you know, there is no real hard and fast rule here and you can call it whatever you want...

I would say a 12 year old watch is not vintage.
