calling all nato/raf experts...

my question: 19mm lugs - what works better, an 18mm or a 20mm strap? i'm looking to get an raf rather than a nato.
thanks

You can use either. The 18mm has more of the spring bar showing ala James Bond. The 20mm should fit with no problem though. Does Here:

Id go with the 20 unless you are going for the vintage Bond look.

My CWC G10 beater has 19mm lugs with an 18mm NATO (which is how they are issued).

The 1/2mm gap on each side is essentially unnoticable. I would think the bunching at the lugs if you use a 20mm might be something you'll see although it seems to fit Dan's well.

(not my pic but this is the same watch)
