A Prayer Request...

Well, nothing too serious, but today my wife, Jodye, had some surgery that was supposed to me minor. To be perfectly blunt, it was a D.N.C. and tubal ligation that ended up requiring a second, larger incision. This lengthened her hospital stay by several hours, despite its nature as an "outpatient" procedure.

The short story is that everything went OK finally. We are home now, but she is experiencing some discomfort. The nausea, however, is driving her crazy. Simply put, she feels rotten. Most of it is due to the medication administered, but is pronounced.

So if you guys wouldn't mind, how's about remembering her for the next couple of days & help ask for a speedy recovery? I know she would appreciate it a lot!!!

Day-of and day after surgery are nasty, then much better.

Hi Jamie,

After our skype chat yesterday, I was in fact telling Zemina about Jodye's operation and hoping all was well.

Sorry to hear it took longer than expected. Please wish her a speedy recovery from all of us. Yes, our thoughts and prayers are with her.

God speed - JJ & Zemina

An update!!!

Jodye is feeling a little better now (thanks Him, and all of you guys!). She is resting as best she can, the nausea has subsided somewhat. Anesthesia does not agree with her at all, neither do the pain meds, so the problems contribute to one another. Hopefully with continued rest and support she will be up and around soon!

Thank you all for the prayers and support! I KNOW it helped!
