My experience all stores are different.
October 18 purchased a SS Sub, just walked into Goldsmiths store with no prior history. Sales person had been phoning customers all day with no success. December 18 White Gold 116519 was mine. January 19 White dial Daytona bought. Personally, I had a wonderful experience with Goldsmiths. |

I’ve had similar experience.
So far this year I bought a TT Sub, Sub No Date, TT Sky Dweller and GMT II all from different ADs. I just always pop in when I see a Rolex logo, pays off... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You are putting the cart before the horse. You should be talking about the people willing and impatient enough to pay grey prices. AD practices are a reaction to the secondary market price, not the cause. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The markup on "jewelry" far exceeds the markup on watches of any brand. So if you spend $20K on jewelry you may be handing them $10K-$15K for the privilege of paying msrp for your beloved Rolex. Do the math. Sounds like they've been working you over pretty good already.

I have bought jewellery but not anything over the £1k mark in any given year. I have however asked to get difficult to get SS pieces and the below has taken just over 10years to get. I didn’t really think about collecting until after I got the batman having realised how much I lost on cars and started to actively buy watches. Bottom line if you spend a lot with them then yes you’ll probably get the watches easier. Which really doesn’t explain my luck Does anyone really know? :dummy [/url] |

The total price of jewellery and non-Rolex watches is now considerably less that the profit i have got in the Rolex, so i think it's a decent deal, and i have the non-Rolex to sell if I wanted to and a girlfriend who is happy with some nice jewellery. Also, I say i want this and he says OK, you do this for me and I'll sort you out. If it think it's fair i do it and a few months later i have the watch i want. |
