Some cool Rolex gemset

Stopped by WoS in Soho today... got to take a look at a few watches... surprisingly the tuity fruity is kind of appealing

What y’all think

First time I ever saw one of these pieces I thought they were fake... In the last 6 years that opinion sadly hasn't changed.

I just don't get the appeal of these models

The gold sunburst DJ is interesting, but these generally are not how I’d be likely to spend my money. (I’ve heard that YM bezel referred to as the “Haribo”)

Fat_Ninja your out of focus photo managed to make that YM look less Rainbow Warrior or Technicolor Dreamcoat then any other picture I have seen...more Lifsavers like.I have never had the pleasure to see that watch in person.

DavidSW had one on his site earlier in the week.

I always chuckle that SARU in Japanese means monkey.

Nice pics BTW, I'd wear any of those if I could afford them.

Gotta see them in person to appreciate the work put into these. Although they are not for me and I can’t afford them, I can still appreciate the workmanship.

Is this better? It’s not as bright as the advertised pictures. It’s very nice in person...

I mean, I’d like to see them but more from a shock value perspective than a “would actually wear them” perspective.

Horribly gaudy IMO.

I dig it! I’ve seen one of these up close and they’re every bit as spectacular as the rainbow Daytona. And anyone who can pull off an RM can easily pull this one off. Go for it, Ninja! Your wife & daughter will be begging to wear it before long.

Just going to say that. They remind me of Christmas as that’s the only time I see those colors together.

Perhaps my 1980’s “Litebrite” as well.

Out of all gem set Rolexes, the Rainbow DD is the only one I kinda like. The version with diamond set bracelet would look even better in my opinion. And if they make a 40mm version of it I bet it'll be selling over sticker.
