There is nothing quite like the sight of Yankee Stadium on an October night.

Twins did not show up for this series. Hope the can win one at Target Field. There has only been one playoff game there since it opened in 2010.

Let's go Yanks

On another note...If Kershaw retired today, he'd get elected into the HOF on the first ballot. He's been one of the best in the game over the last 10 years. It's amazing how he struggles in the playoffs. I feel bad for the guy.

Yankees should roll through the NLDS but facing the Astros rotation will be a little more challenging than the Twins.

Totally agree with you, he seems like such a genuine and nice guy too...hoping he will turn things around next game but his postseason era is pretty high.

Yes, Twins pitching is not how they won..they won with their bats this year. Also, their defense fell off a cliff from early in the season. I think Houston is the team to beat in the AL.

I just hope the Twins can build from this. It is their first playoff season since 2010. Many of the pieces are there to construct a long-term winning team.

I'll be surprised if an AL team doesn't win it all. Dodgers would put up the best fight from the NL. The other 3 teams probably don't have what it takes to win 4 games in the WS. I have to say my favorite part of the playoffs so far has been watching Scherzer pitch. That guy can dig incredibly deep.

I don't usually follow sports on TV, in fact, I actually don't watch any TV, but my parents are visiting (from NY) and my dad kept checking his phone for the Yankees score, so we finally found a sports bar that had the game on and we had a couple beers and watched the last half of the game until close.

That was nice.
