Rotation

Fellow Forumers,

When you rotate your timepieces, are you doing so daily, weekly, monthly, or something else?

Happy weekend!

Something else. I always wear what speaks to me that day. I can go weeks having the same one, or I even rotate daily. I just give the heart what it wants.

I rotate every Sunday. I have three watches in rotation so this works just about right for me. One day when I add a fourth I’ll probably rotate twice weekly.

Use to pick based randomly sometimes daily. Ended up picking the same watches

Now I try to give each the attention they deserve or why have them

So every Monday I pick 2, 1 metal 1 leather

This week it’s been a JLC moon phase and bb58

Next an omega FOIS and Pepsi. Now I’m looking forward to next week. Try to pick what I haven’t worn for a while

I usually change watches throughout the day.

Most days I wear 2-3 different watches.

Already on #2 today

Depends on what I am doing or wearing that day or time of day. Will usually end up wearing the same watch for a couple/few days in a row, once I have a reason to put it on. I will change throughout the day as well if needed.

To me this is where variety comes into play. If I had ever version of Sub, it wold be hard to decide what to wear. But given my collection, one usually stands out based on activity or outfit.

Monday to Friday I rotate my watches on a weekly basis. On weekends it’s whatever I feel like wearing.

Rotate daily or sometimes 2 or more times. Trying to consolidate to 5-6 pieces so I can wear each watch more.

It varies. Really just depends on what I am wearing, my mood, and what I will be doing.

I have not taken my BBN off my wrist for probably 3 weeks but there are other weeks I wear 4 different watches. Whoever puts rules on such things are wasting time.

Definitely not daily. Way too much effort. I'll usually go a month or two at a time unless I need to switch for a certain event.

I am fickle and cannot profess to have a method to my madness. Today, I’ve worn my SD4K, 16600, and PAM 973...but I sometimes go weeks on end without switching.

I have 4, 2 date references and 2 non date.

I typically wear the date references during the week one week on, one week off. I wear the no date references every other weekend.

I've been going Explorer II most work days, then throw on the Pepsi at night and for weekends. My poor Milgauss just gets mixed in every now and then.
