Was the date wheel problem already addressed? If not, then it will become your problem if it breaks out of warranty. You might want to send it in for repair.
Mine has been at the RSC for repair for a long time now and it probably won't come back until 2020. Others have had to send theirs back multiple times for the same repair. |

Yes, most dealers have a waitlist for the Tudor GMT. It's a great watch.
Don't worry too much about the date window issue. I think it mainly affected the earlier ones. I bought the first one my AD received. It had the issue but was repaired in 3 weeks. No problem since. Hopefully, Tudor has figured it out by now. Congratulations |

Nice watch. Generally there is a wait list for this, but at the same time it’s been spotted in Windows now and again.

That’s frustrating. I got a very early GMT after the launch, and within a week had the date issue. I sent it off and it took around 4 weeks to fix (repair order was vague regarding what was performed) but it has operated flawlessly since. It seems after an extended period at service or multiple failures to correct the issue that Tudor needs to step up and either offer a refund or new watch. If they’re not replacing them I would guess that the watches in the pipeline are potentially affected as well and giving someone a new watch with a high probability of the same issue just digs a deeper hole of consumer confidence for the brand.
It’s disappointing as a Tudor fan but all brands have hit bumpy spots. In the PP forum there are nearly-new 5711’s with rust marks appearing on bracelets, so no brand is immune. Quote:

Looks good, but take it easy with the photos in traffic, these are not cool :)
My GMT is running 5.6 secs slow per day when worn. Kinda spoiled the enjoyment a bit. I probably had unreasonable expectations caused by my BB burgundy. That ran 2 secs fast per six months. |
