Would you paid 14 large for this 1675?

1. lume matches
2. date windows (silver) looks original
3. bezel looks good(i guess) blue/black
4. bracelet has hollow links (i am also guessing it's correct??)

Not sure about the HK market, but I would expect to pay about $14kUSD in our market for a similar 1675.

Thanks, for your feedback. Maybe i used the wrong title. I own a 16710, but this is my first foray into 1675 and im still learning, i just like to see if everything checks out on this watch.

price is secondary.

Dial is MK5, which a 3mil wasn't born with... $14k is a lot imho. No obscene, but a lot.

$14K with a blueback insert and wrong dial, that's a lot of money for a watch that's not period correct. This watch should be priced around $11K. Hang around here and you'll find better deals.

True, no doubt about that - but before Rolex began specific Service Dial procedures, the Mark 5 dials doubled as a service dial for earlier 1675s when the original Mark 2-4 dial stock had been depleted.

So could have been a service swap.

The watch seems fine but not all original. As long as price is secondary, all is fine.

You can go about a 1675 learning quest a couple of ways.

Overspend for 1675’s that don’t perk, or do more pre-sale check-up’s in TRF’s vintage section.

Unfortunately, vintage Rolex prices here in HK are abit higher than US and UK. Good quality pieces are difficult to come by and prices here are heavily influenced by Japan where prices are sky high at the moment, likely due to the strong economy.

Thanks, appreciate your feedback. the lume on the hand is perfect with the indicies.. isn't that a good thing? does it matter if it's a service dial?

Much harder to find these in Asia for sure.

Thanks, appreciate your feedback, will do, im just nervous buying vintage over the internet based on the photo instead of actually seeing it and sourcing it from a good dealer.

Have you seen the dial/hands under a UV light? Something about it seems a little too perfect in the tone/color match. And look at the lower right corner of the 6 o'clock marker.

It could be fine, but I'd definitely want to confirm that it's original tritium, even if it is a service dial and hands.

If a hand has a cracked and has new tritium would it lower the value?

That wouldn't prove a relume. The luminous material van shrink up a little revealing the white beneath it.
