Accuracy testing of a Rolex movement
Thought this might be worthwhile. Enjoy!

Good link Richard,
Some of the things he said could be discussed. He said that the watch accuracy changed with position because the watch hadn't been cleaned. IMO this variarion due to watch position also happens with brand new watches?

Nice link Richard, Think I will take my 6 month old GMT in to be regulated. It runs 3-4 sec slow a day. I would rather it be fast

You are right in that I would much rather it be fast than slow. I can't stand being late!

Always wondered what one of those machines looked like and how they are used.
Very informative, thanks Richard. |

Maybe you remember a few weeks ago when I put my DJ in the washing machine.
I let it finish. After the centrifuge. Not bad, nice and clean. It looks dry and fine so I put it up at the Vibrograph. Not bad considering what the watch been on. Jocke

Jocke,
Methinks you have tooooooo many Rolexes. I only have two and therefore know where they are at all times.

Jocke's willingness to show us how tough our oysters are by his use of his 1601 is truly inspriational!
