Nice pick up

Congratulations Moby on a great pick up.
It's the right watch for you, and ultimately that is what matters.
I'd love to more pics if you have them.
Having picked up a couple of "hard to find" Rolexes in the past few weeks I have to say that the economy is making watches we might have had to wait for more readily available.
2 guys ahead of me on the list for the GV actually backed out a few weeks ago and I got the watch much sooner than expected and at list.
Cheers,
J

Congrats on a great watch. My AD called me a month or so ago and I decided to hold out for my SS Daytona which a got a couple of weeks later. It was very impressive. I am glad that you were able to get yours!!!

Congrats Moby, I know you've been looking forward to this watch more than anyone. I love mine but have got to admit I am still babying it at the moment. I have a couple of very slight scratches on the bracelet so far.

Thanks guys...still lovin the watch.

Time keeping update: I am AMAZED! It's been on my wrist now almost 5 days straight and this morning I checked it with the source I set it to (the online US Naval Observatory Master Clock)...believe it or not it is DEAD ON! Wow...my Sub Date was extremely accurate, but I think this DS might just beat it. It blows my mind when you think of the thousands of bph that occurs within the watch that it can essentially be as accurate as a battery powered quartz movement. Unbelievable...truly a work of art & engineering all rolled into one!
