Recommendations......for an all black

Hey TRF,

I'm looking to get an all black (bezal, dial and numericals have to be black) watch. Any recommendations out there?

I've been researching for a few months and just wanted to hit TRF for recommendations.

Budget under $500.

Thanks in advance.

These were a limited edition and I'm pretty sure have all sold out, but you might pick one up on the used market.

Another Seiko idea that may be easier to obtain than the Black Ninja is the Skx 007

Above your budget but perhaps pre-owned gets you closer?

Check out Luminox, most of their watches are all black.

Check Hamilton Khaki Field... you can get quartz in this budget, and auto and auto chrono for 2x more money...

Luminox should be pretty good. I gave one as a gift and it did well. Small sample size, but hey.

P.S. In that price range I think mvmt has some stylish black watches, not entirely familiar with their line up, but something to check out?

I have a Luminox Navy Seals diver and I love it. I’ve had it for about 10 years now and the black DLC doesn’t show a single mark. It’s really a great watch, really reliable and durable.

Was poised to suggest the AP CE diver until I saw the budget.

I do think the luminox is a good suggestion.

Also - If i ever manage to actually break my little Casio world time, this is what I’ll be replacing it with.

Tritium tubes are a very cool solution to omnipresent lume.

There a really nice Casio Oceanus in all black. I’ve had mine for a few years and it still looks perfect.
