Black ceramic watches

I am interested to get a full black ceramic watch and I see a few options out there. For anything < $10k, I am interested in something like the Longines Hydroconquest 43mm and the Omega Dark Side of The Moon Apollo 8.

Does anyone have experience with these 2 or in general full ceramic sporty watches?

You mean ceramic bezel insert?

Look at Oris Aquis & Tudor Pelagos.

As much as I LOVE the DSOM, and almost pulled the trigger a few weeks ago...the IWC Big Pilot's Watch Top Gun 2019 is really catching my eye lately. Do you need a hypoallergenic watch?

Bulgari Octo Finissimo has a black ceramic version I beleive and it is a stunner. And not that expensive. Well, for a high end watch that is.

Panerai 441. Really content with mine. Lots of fun playing with straps too.

If you want the bracelet in ceramic too, then number one choice would be the Girard-Perregaux Laueato. Omega wouldn’t even get look in.
If rubber or sailcloth straps are fine/preferred, then it’d be a toss up between Blancpain Bathyscaphe and G-P Chrono Hawk (or Sea Hawk) depending on wrist size and style.

There are also Hublot Classic Fusions, Zeniths, and if you wanted to dip your toes into the material first, just to see how you get on with it, then RADO would be the obvious choice.

As someone above already mentioned, you may also like to consider the new IWC Top Gun DoppelChronograph.

The ceramic Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe is pretty nice in that price range

Ridiculous price for the IWC though. Another vote for the Blancpain.

The first Omega Dark Side of the Moon, with the red lettering, can be found in your price range. I saw one at an Omega boutique a few weeks back and was smitten. Since they are next to impossible to scratch, i would go used if were to pick one up. I have seen a few on the forum for under 8K.

Good luck!
