No one has mentioned Parmigiani. They have some superb pieces, many with complications and from what I know, incredible movements and finish on a par with PP.

I'm tempted by the Toric and my local Rolex AD has recently become a stockist, just a shame it doesn't have the case depth I really want. But, the new dial is stunning.

Search for Vulcain president watch on google. It has an alarm, can be found in different colors, and sells used for 3K and change. 10K for solid gold.
