Probably the ADs, there's always a 'price rise imminent' when they're trying to sell a watch.

If they have the info why are you requesting detailed enlightenment ?? Surely they could inform you ???
Sorry to be blunt but we could talk and talk about the ifs and buts of potential increases and it still wouldn't matter one iota to the question.
We'll all know when it happens, just like always!!!

There won't be a price rise until later this year. ADs will state that there might be, or there is one coming in, but they're trying to sell Rolex Submariners for £3700 when they cost £2350 less than 5 years ago, the only way to do that is to make people believe that £3700 is a bargain, so scaremongering people into thinking that it'll cost you £4100 in a months time does make some people buy.

Only people who know for sure are Rolex, but my AD said Mar/Apr for next rise but he said only rumour at present not confirmed by Rolex yet.

I like their watches, but I will laugh my arse off at Rolex if they price themselves out of business by raising prices during a recession. Talk about chutzpah.

I agree but looks like they are still going to increase prices, just means the man in the street will be priced out and only the rich will be able to afford them.

price rise on the way

i think it is highly likely that another UK price rise will happen. I have heard it from two very reliable sources and April is indeed indicated.

My sense is that Rolex knows what it is doing. Seems like they would rather sell to fewer people for more money. I am fine with that strategy. They have been around for a long time and will continue for generations to come I am guessing.

April would be ironic.

Plenty of decent new models (you never know) and a price to make your gonads jump back into the warmth.

Rolex always seems to do what they want and a bad economic environment will not stop them at all!!! I guess they like going against the grain!!!
