...and here I thought that the long skinny hand and the short fat hand and the other long hand could do the same thing. But it takes a $12,000+ watch to do that...I missed the boat on that one ;)

There are some jobs that require a stop watch or in this case a Chronograph, now I know not all Daytona owners use or need the watch for what it was intended, but some including myself use a chronograph daily in their profession.

Sounds like the "honeymoon period"! I used to be the same way, know I just wear the watch! Glad to hear you are enjoying it though.

Nobody needs a Daytona, some of us just WANT one.

LOL... good one! Oh wait, I just re-read that and you were serious.

Just funnin' ya. My Citizen is a chronograph and I timed everything when I bought it years ago but the honeymoon did wear down.

Now, I think they should put a countdown timer on the Daytona (like the YM II) but capable of more than 10 minutes. That way I could tell when my Hot Pockets are ready.

I use a cheaper method. I wait till the legs go numb then I get up and hobble off to the couch. Don't need no Daytona for that.

Exactly. It's a toy now. That's totally cool, but spare me. So what are the changes in life after "timing the speech"? I wish he had said he didn't burn dinner, that would have actually been useful.
