I know what’s it’s for and I know how to use it. Never used it though and likely never will.

Another question could be, how many people really use ANY of the functions on their chronographs? I know how to use the functions and I occasionally use them just because they are there. My iPhone is much easier for any timing function or speed calculation.

Yes and yes.

I use it to calibrate speedometers.

I have to say that this would be easier if the scale still started at 50 units though.

It all depends on whether you're interested in km/hr or mi/hr. I guess in timing snails it could be cm/hr. I'm kind of curious if the OP has a Daytona or is making fun of others because he doesn't.

im not making FUN out of owners no i don't have one just curious because of the high demand for the reference by the lack of responses looks to me owners have no idea how to read the tach function

I wouldn’t draw the conclusion that a lack of response to your question means Daytona owners or Daytona wait list people don’t know how to read the tachymeter

I thought it was used to time and regulate the variances in the Speedmaster’s tachymeter?
