Icon14 Rolex Datejust 36 diamonds or no diamonds

Hi Guys,

I hope everyones well, after recently purchasing a sea master the quest continues for another watch. I am in love with the two tone date just and was wondering if a diamond dial (pretty much the same price as the numerals) is abit over the top ?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Cheers

- John

I would opt out of the diamonds. But if it's your style, go for it. Just seems a little dressy for me, but I'm not a guy that gets dressed up.

I have this exact same watch and I love it...with one exception. My eyesight has deteriorated to the point where it's sometimes hard to discern the time due to the lack of contrast between the hands and the champaign dial.

I tend to wear my 116613LB much more because I can see the time with a quick glance. But, the DateJust is much dressier.

Wow, this combo looks phenomenal with the dark rhodium dial.

Too bad, they don’t offer the rhodium dial with the two tone DJ41.

Either version looks nice. I have couple watches with diamonds and love the way it pops in the sun. Good luck with your decision.

Love with diamonds, but have to say that champagne diamond dials are hard to see .... having had a couple. I have a black diamond dial on my DD and love it.
