Ask to see the visa card statement that matches the dealer and the dollar amount. Otherwise the bracelet looks a little different to me, but whit I find really interesting, is the price. Who would price the piece at that price especially when you mentioned he sold other watches. Someone who buys sells and trades as a hobby knows that this price is unheard of. If my friend was selling to me and I know its legit, ok now problem a deal between friends, but a CL seller makes me wonder. Also don't know why they won't meet at the dealership to verify?

Get a fecal sample. If it matches the watch, you’ll know for sure it’s crap.

an ad use watch's nick name on receipt is very uncommon and price he asked is very low when he can easily sell it 13k if watch is real, so the answer is easy, fake watch fake person

If you are patient, you could get a Hulk at your local AD. I just dropped my air king for a service and I asked and they said they can call me as soon as they get one but it will probably be awhile though. Months and Months. How badly do you want it? I know some AD can be rude though. My AD are very nice people. Apparently half the people that ask to wait can't wait ironically. She told me they have people that want a Daytona and by the time they actually get it and call the buyer, they already bought one due to impatience. Although who could blame them if they have 12k to blow they could probably afford the 20k upcharge. Instead of waiting over a year for it. You should go to your AD and see if you can get on the list. 9050$ is a good deal if you can wait 6 or so months. If you want a no date sub, You just have to wait about a month.

Thanks for the recommendation. Hopefully I get my call soon.

This watch is listed at Marketplace as well. I message the guy with ridiculous $5000 offer and he asked when we can meet to complete the deal. Told him today at AD, never replied back.

I'm a new member in Daytona Beach, FL. Just starting to get my feet wet learning and preparing to buy my first Rolex. I called my local AD, Tom Cook Jeweler, who told me they could not verify a watch. They said they would be happy to do a visual inspection. But they cannot open up the watch. They said the only way for me to get a 100% verification is to send it in to Rolex (RSC?). That seems contradictory to what you seasoned owners are saying here?!

Another option is to find a reputable local watchmaker and have them verify the piece you are trying to buy.

Most watchmakers would not have a clue on latest fakes!

Every few weeks another person comes along wanting to buy that exact damn hulk from him. Please take it off the market. I beg you.

Of course would find a watchmaker that is knowledgeable about Rolex and checking the movement. The newest fakes have gotten so good some are getting past AD sales person as being genuine.
