What about the MM 300 SLA021J1
Never paid serious attention to the Seiko brand and now I have the opportunity to grab a new one at 2k euro’s (complete set) and I am really thinking of pulling the trigger.
I have never seen one in the flesh. Concern: Will I be disappointed? My daily beater is a SD43 and also the black 44mm grey dial ceramic offshore get’s a lot of wrist time so I am used to wear a bit larger timepieces. On paper it looks like a fun watch to me (youtube and internet pics) or am I missing something... ceramic bezel, mononlock case, 8L35 movement, sapphire crystal and it even got great lume. Any feedback is more then welcome. Cheers! Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk |

I don't think you will be disappointed in the SLA021. It is a great wearing watch and the quality of the build is second to none in the price point. I have owned the SLA019, Green Dial, the SLA021, Black Dial and I currently own the just released SLA023, Blue Dial. I also own the SD43 and the Seiko gets as much wrist time as the Rolex. I would look at the blue or green dial models and change it up a bit as you have the black dial covered with the SD43. Whatever you decide you will have a cool watch.

I have the 019, fantastic watch, very wearable and fantastic quality
The solidity bracelet and clasp will be slightly disappointing coming from a modern rolex at first, buy theyre very comfortable, and by no means subpar like the more affordable seiko Give it a shot, worst comes to worst, you flip it

Sorry for the multiple uploads. For some kind of reason I was unable to post all in one.
Are there more nice straps available for the SLA021J1 that I should be aware of? Tips are welcome. |

Got the call and picked this beauty up today.
Love the Zaratsu finish and the lume is top notch. I am not a lume junky at all but oh boy this watch glows..! Immediately installed it on a black Crafter Blue strap and I must day it wears very comfortable. No problems at all of being top heavy or other complains. Hereby some wrist shots that I took this morning. What do you guys think. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk |

Looks great! I have the SBDX017 and absolutely love it. It wears great, and as "bulky" as it is, I wear it on a NATO strap with no problems (6.75-inch wrist). The Crafter Blue is phenomenal, I've heard, but I prefer a tang buckle; the MM300 buckle just doesn't work for me.
My MM300 is one of only 2 watches I will never let go of. |

Love it! My SLA021 says hello. Currently on the bracelet but may try alternatives later
PS - I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the good seconds hand but I dig it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
