Day-Date 1 year waitlist

Dear all,

Have been told by an acquaintance that he is on a waitlist for a WG Silver dial Day-Date. 1 year approximately with deposit...

Has the market really turned into this?

EU Market

Yes! Do find another AD! That’s just absurd!

Does he want the 36 or 40. The 36mm with silver stick looks very nice.

Nicely related to the original thread : chuckle:

Back to the topic, that's what I thought but I felt bad telling him that given he has put down a non refundable deposit...
I was also hoping that the AD was giving him the worst scenario to surprise him with a soon to come "I got the call".

If it were me, never would I have gone through with this... But I feel like they are genuine and can be trusted as I purchased a BLRO with them after 1 year wait without prior history.

I've not been to an AD in quite a while; very surprised by this. I'd tell your friend to try some other ADs however.

One AD is not representative of the entire market.

That being said, ADs are selling Day-Dates with relative ease (compared to a few years ago) so it isn't impossible to imagine some stores have waiting lists for some PM model configurations.

There are definitely watches I’d wait a year for, but a DD is not one of them. Sorry your bud is having to wait on this.
