Which Model?

Hello,

I’m new to Panerai having been used to Rolex.

Have been considering for some time the possible purchase of a PAM048 as it’s a 40mm model, as I have a 6.75” wrist. It also seems to be of true Panerai heritage, in terms of its depth rating.

I have recently noticed the Due models, which look beautiful, however, I’ve read lots that the water resistance is terrible, and therefore, Panerai fans don’t respect this model as it’s not true to its origin.

So, the question I have, is if I want a more modest sized Panerai, am I better sticking to the 048?

I’ve spoken with an AD who is willing to discount by £400. I am aware that resale for this brand is poor.

Thanks
