Thoughts on PAM 384

Looking into purchasing a Rad 384 ceramic. Watch belongs to a friend of a friend, is in very good condition and comes complete with box and papers.

I was previously considering a 292 but I can get the 384 for about $1,500 more. Any thoughts on this watch? Seems like a 292 with 8 day movement, seconds and date. I can't seem to find any significant information on this model after searching several forums.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

IMHO, with a Rad, the simpler the better, so 292 no doubt Look to the 233 for that movement....and pair it with the 292..... :-)

+1.... I think that’s the “right” strategy

Pam 384 is a bit of middle of the road pam...I’d go 292 for ceramic or 339 for long PR or 346 for date and rear PR

384 has date and front PR...now if only it has GMT like 233 probably it’ll be more desirable than just a ceramic pam with long PR

Thanks for the feedback guys. Coincidentally the deal for the 384 fell through. I‘m now looking for a 339 in addition to the 292 I had been previously offered.

I’m quite curious on why you can find 339’s for as low as $7k- $7.5k being a limited edition run of 1,500 units, that originally cost around $15k when new. Is there anything I’m missing here?

The value of 339 plummeted because there’s some publications about bad durability of composite material

I have one and my mom often wear that particular piece, and no problem with it

Personally I like 339 as it has marina militare and 8 giorni circle on the dial on top of the 3-6-9-12

339 and 375
