Next BLRO oyster or not?

Will the next change to the BLRO be an oyster bracelet?

I don’t think so. It’s perfect the way it is. It won’t be changed. More likely an all black GMT on a jubilee perhaps next year. It’s clear Rolex has decided to put the Jubilee on the GMT models.

I didnt know how much I'd like it but once I got one I can't imagine it on a different band. I love the jubilee. Plus the polished center part of the clasp is a scratch magnet, I can't imagine the whole band picking up dings like that.

Doubtful.

I think the jubilee is here to stay on the SS GMT's

The jubilee is ridiculously easy to win people (yours truly included) over. I doubt we'll see changes.

If I may be so bold: the GMT is a pretty well-executed implementation of what it's designed to be. Unless Rolex wants to add features to the movement, there's not much more to be done- with the exception of maybe stronger lume.

I've noticed that the BLRO's lume does indeed last a long time (well above 8 hours for me), but its luminosity drops from when you first charge it to about 15-20 minutes before tapering off all night.

I like it on jubilee. But maybe Rolex would get a lot of brownie points if they let the consumer pick and choose

My thoughts are it stays on the jubilee for the model run.

Never mind, oyster bracelet ones should still be available in as new condition.

No, they just changed the line over to the jubilee and I couldn’t be happier about them doing so.

Rolex is evolutionary. The super Jubilee is/will be the next theme from Rolex for a long time. It made me a believer on many levels.
