Pam01535

Considering buying my first panerai and have always liked the look of the pam01535. I don't see much written about it on here is it not well thought of? I will buy what I like I guess but just curious. Tia

I share your curiosity. Tried it on a few months ago at a boutique, and it’s a stunner. I love the hobnail dial. It offers great value too, as it can be picked up relatively cheap from a trusted seller.

Love the hobnail look on the dial, it’s a no brainer IMO.

I love that texturized dial! I’m having a hard time between this one and the classic 1312

I am currently considering the PAM 1535. Love the dial and look of this watch. Hard to find good info/threads on it though...

I originally really liked the older model 535 and missed buying it from AD. Went to get it and someone had bought a week earlier. A year or so later (couple weeks ago) I stopped in and the 1535 caught my eye, but knew it was different from the original that caught my eye. AD explained it was newer movement, slimmer and added the blue hand which I now quite like.

Any other 1535 owners out there that have good or bad experience with it?

I have been on the Sky Dweller list at my Rolex AD but it's looking like it will never happen...

My only Panerai pieces are the PAM 0335 10 day ceramic GMT and I got a Luminor Due for my wife this past Spring. Other than that; I own a Sub C date, BLNR batman, AP RO 15400st, Breitling transocean chrono, and a couple tags (that I've had since middle school!).

What originally drew me to the 535 (and now 1535) was the "hobnail" dial... It's similar to the tapisserie dial on my AP Royal Oak and I just love that look. Sets this 1535 apart from many other panerai too.
