Good for you! Nothing wrong with expecting to receive a top notch product when you’re paying so much. The watch wasn’t right. Returning it was justified. Can’t wait to see what’s next on the list for you.

Thinking about it...but hoping we’ll see an RM first but in the mean time I bought a Seiko 5 :) SNXS75. Those little watches always make me happy for some odd reason.

That’s a lot of times sending it back bro... great service but shouldn’t need to go back that many times.

It's always precarious when things like this happen because my wife would be like yours, she'd completely right off AP as garbage. No excuses for things like this. And no excuses would fly for her. She'd never ever trust AP again.

This is why we have quality control, people! :(

Oh well. Glad you got things sorted to your (somewhat) satisfaction.
Wife was pretty upset about it...the amount of F bombs and PoS involved...

I bought a Seiko5 Bill...not even a Grand Seiko :). I’ve always wanted a Seiko 5. Weird right? Lol.

Ok, so what is a reasonable timeframe for you to have an issue with any manufacturer? If a PP stops after say a year, is that ok or do you write them off too? Why would there be a warranty if these watches never had issues?

I think you and ninja wife need to relax a little.

I just watched crazy rich Asians the other day. I'm starting to think your wife is the Nick and you are the Rachel.

Seiko 5 is solid. I picked one up a few years ago. I like to have a watch for every occasion. There are definitely occasions for a Seiko 5.

I always think AP movement is not good. Hublot Unico is even better, rarely broke. The simple panerai is good too.
