Whats your choice?

Hi guys happy new year to you all, thinking about adding a third piece to my collection what would be your pick?

Currently own

DJ 41 WG jubilee fluted Wimbledon dial
114060 Submariner

I've narrowed my next purchase down to these 4 options.

Pepsi
BLNR
CHNR
YM 40 Rose gold with Chocolate dial

Playing with the idea of a PM piece for some variety as if was to get Pepsi or Batman my whole collection is SS. Obvioulsy three GMTs there but had to throw the YM in the mix as just really like that watch dial combo but to be honest I love all 4 of them and am constantly changing my mind!!!!

Help and advice much needed, thanks in advance.

Out of those choices, I would pick Pepsi

Well - there are a lot of factors that go into your choice. Can you get all of these at MSRP? Are you going grey/pre-owned? Would the third piece be a constant in the rotation, or something for a special occasion? You have three GMTs in the options, is that because you really need the complication (constant traveler) or you just like the look of the GMT?

For my subjective opinion, I will assume that the piece will be rotated in a collection and worn as much as the Sub and DJ. The Sub is straight tool watch, while the DJ is a sporty but classy piece. You have the brushed oyster and the jubilee taken care of with these two - so I am thinking something two tone.

For the sake of variety, I would go for the 116621 (TT YM). The case is classic (not the maxi profile like the Sub) and it wears so comfortable. The TT is a great complement to the collection and the bezel and dial are vastly different from what you have. And, at least with this model you can easily get it from an AD or look at the grey market for a discount (DavidSW has a new one in stock for less than MSRP).

That would be my own choice, but it is your wrist and collection. Good luck and let us know what you come up with!

You might as well add a white dial Daytona to your list since your list is comprised of some of the most difficult pieces to acquire. :-)

To me the Pepsi is the best on your list. It’s a GMT and you already own a sub. The bezel is more fun then the BLNR IMO. I’ve owned both and kept the Pepsi.

I would have to go with the CHNR. It is a beauty and very different than what you currently have. As an owner it is a beauty!

Since you've got the DJ on jubilee, I think I would go CHNR. Good luck,
