Naw, they are hydraulic assist. Now, I still drive some P cars that are all manual clutches. Damn, it almost takes two legs now. What is funny is that as I have gotten older my reflexes are slower and I had to slow down a tad. Most I do now is 8/10th driving. Takes a lot of cordination, skill, and practice to go fast and I leave that up to you young guys now. I would love to hear some of your stories while working at the racing school. Hard for me to believe, but it has been almost 30.

It goes like this in a curve....accelerate with you heel and when you enter the curve you engage cluth and downshift and brake with your toe, go to neutral, blip the throttle with your heel, finish your downshift and then use you heel to accelerate. Easy to do and is how you go fast when you have a car with a small power band. Some would say keep it on the cam and such, I just say keep the revs up.

The car being driven was not one to need traditional heel and toe so I do not think he was being lazy. What do I know, I drive a Ford truck

For once I agree with you

Heel and toe on upshift - can't be done? Use heel to accellerate?? no Bubs. Use your foot to accellerate and when you hit the brake slide your heel over and blip but what do I know I don't use the clutch much on the Duc and IMO heel and toe is not much use on a Ferrari.
