That is a pre-1970 folded 6251H bracelet with correct 55 end links, but the clasp has been replaced with a later 62510H clasp from the later D-link jubilee. So it's a mix master. My 1601 has the same issue, it's not uncommon to find replacement clasps as they did wear out.

M is the date code for 2007 or 2008. I think (not 100% sure) the 10 means October.

The 62510H was introduced sometime around 1970 or so. Someone on here can likely tell you with certainty the year it came in. It's still made today - you can order a new one from Rolex through an AD. For a 1603 it would take 555 end links with this model of Jubilee.

Thank you - to sum up, my 1972 DJ bracelet should have: this end link 55 (or 555?), this bracelet, clasp 6251h?

It left the factory with 55 end links, not 555, and a 6251H clasp.

62510 Jubilee was introduced several years later than 1970 - closer to 1976/77.
