Birth of a "Nylon Nation"
We are inviting one and all to join the "Nylon Nation" social group. As our mission statement reads: "Dedicated to the perpetuation of the utilitarian nylon strap in all it's forms."
To apply for citizenship you must: - read and agree with our "Bill of Rights" - own a watch - own a nylon strap - submit pics of proof. Nylon Nation Bill Of Rights -We, the undersigned, have declared nylon appropriate and we will embrace the strap. Although in many cases we might prefer a bracelet we fully accept nylon as a practical alternative. -We extend equal rights to all nylon straps be they 2 ring, 4 ring, zulu, rhino, or nato. -We will embrace variety. It will be our duty to involve as many colors and combinations to enhance diversity. -We will respect originality whenever possible but also establish the right of vintage and/ or modern watches to the use of nylon to achieve life, liberty, pursuit of wrist time. dP

I used to have a huge collection of zulu's and g10 straps (nato's) but now I just have one black zulu. It's a nice change every once in a while, but I think it would look better with the black insert GMTII.

Either way it looks great, Trevor! It does make for a nice change and you can always revert back to original.

Exactly the response I would expect from you, JJ my friend! Sorry you had to see the carnage there. Folks do like the "NATO", I fear. As Dan says, at least it ain't a Rado!

Actually, I was thinking that the strap may actually IMPROVE the Rado. But only slightly, of course!

Photographic proof that the Nylon Nation has validty. I have no ideal what is up with this poor guy but look at his watch A nylon nato has saved this watch. A spring bar has failed and if he had had it on a bracelet it would have flown off into god knows where In his current state I dought if he would have even known his watch was gone Nylon saves the day
