Panerai 292, for 7,500!

Did I just stumble upon a treasure? I found a brand new, in box, never worn, untouched PAM 292 with a one year official warranty from the day I buy it, for only $7,500. I looked around online and only found one on ebay going for more than twice this much. I love the watch but I'm thinking of making money out of it.

Someone please enlighten me about this watch. I know it's very much sought after but how quickly would I be able to move it with the current economy and how much can I get out of it? Or maybe I should just keep it for myself. Also, is the movement inhouse?

You sure did!

If it's to good to be true it usually is, is something to keep in mind.

Having said that, check it out. Amazing watch with long waiting times at AD's...

I doubt that you would ever sell it for twice what it's worth but there is a buyer out there for everything.

If you can pick it up for 7500 and it's in pefect condition, I would jump all over it.

It is true, this is an authorized AD and I'm sure it's authentic.

Isn't the 317 a ceramic model?

Also, does it scratch easy? Or could it actually be a daily watch?

$8000.

I think I might pass on it, can't really afford it at this time. If anyone wants it, please PM me and I will show you the way, for a small commission. (after you actually receive the watch)

I got 4 PMs in my inbox, two of which were great offers. I decided to pull the trigger. I went to the AD and he had sold it a couple of hours earlier. I didn't beleive him until he showed me the receipt. My mistake for not jumping on it when I first heard about it.

They promised me that they have one in their next shipment arriving in a couple of weeks (which I doubt) and promised that it would be mine.

I didn't realise that Panerai only offers a 1 year guarantee.

No, not a fishy AD. I assumed the one year warranty, I meant was you get a full warranty from the day you buy it. The watch is 100% legit.

I was called later last night by a grey dealer that I offered the watch to and was offered 11500$ for the watch! I could of easily made 50% in less than 12 hours. :(

Finally after a 1.5 year wait my Panerai 292 Ceramic came!

Finally after a 1.5 year wait my Panerai 292 Ceramic came. Very unique piece.
Haven’t worn it as yet. I’m in the admiration phase. Some others have had theirs
for awhile. What are your impressions?
THanks,
Rob
