Rolex Midas
…..I had a Gold Midas about 30 yrs ago. Has this model become important or is it just an oddity?

I think the integrated bracelet version is a cool piece. You aren't going to see others out in the wild too often at all. They have always been a peripheral fringe piece in the Rolex lineup, but I think it's neat that Rolex, a company known for it's robust automatic waterproof watch line would build something artsy like the Midas. Their reworked Prince lineup from a few years back showed that whimsical flare, but those watches were never big sellers either.
(P.S. I've had a Midas as well as the recent Prince, so I'm a bit biased in favor of these cool atypical Rolex pieces.)

I did a search for the Midas on Chrono24. Of the five hits that came up (3 YG, 1 WG, 1TT) only one of them had a dial that was aligned properly. Was the wonky dial a feature of this model or is it more likely poor maintenance and servicing?
