Openworked Daytona pepsi. Might be an MK1 but I'm not sure

As we all should know according to the net and many watch forums all Rolex are rare. But must admit that one is a bit more rare than the other watches produced in there thousands each year. But it looks like like a MK4 or MK3 or was it a MK2 or MK1.

Hahaha!
Excellent, Bas!
I trust, that's NOT your handiwork, on the top left lug?

Bas, you'll have seen the Rolex parts lists. Do ALL the 126710 BLRO ceramic bezel inserts have exactly the same part number?

No this is one of those guys with their own springbar tool and aftermarket springbars...

Yes all the 126710 blro ceramic inserts have the exact same number. Rolex does not give a rats a$$ about mk1,2,3,etc

Nah it's the RSC personnel fault, they let a complete idiot like me work on daytonas and GMT masters, and this is what happens

Oh man I love a good Basel leak!!! Guessing it’ll only be in platinum or white gold. Wait, will the clock always read 41:30, that’s confusing.

But before anything else, i think i need to see it mounted on a bracelet first.

Or is it a pocket watch?

Bas - you have hit upon a new way to make the Daytona even more popular!

I do see some truth in your humor, though. All the drivers who compete in endurance racing like Rolex24, 12h@Sebring, Le Mans, WEC, etc. are time zone hoppers as well as Daytona lovers. I’d wager that many of the civilian owners are in same boat (er, car).

The existing Daytona Bezel is fairly obsolete for practical use in measuring speed or units. But a rotating Pepsi bezel plus a GMT running train added to the chrono and a 24hr. hand would be a great result.

Yes...I know it needs a mock-up but you have the parts right there...go bold young man!

I recently bought one of these new style Pepsis you've got here from a place called Horology House, and I am looking forward to receiving it 2 day express.

Someone has already offered me a MK 5 Batgirl if I give them this watch and $5000.

Is it worth it?
