My BLNR has been everywhere and spent lots of time in sauna and steam rooms and still near-perfect time keeping.

I should have kept yachtmaster on during a massage.... stolen from the locked locker (fortunately was insured but still months of unpleasantness).

Thanks for the laugh, Peter. The ad guy must have one heck of powerful shower head.

Please don't let your watch miss out on your life's experiences. That's why you bought it to take it with you to heaven/hell and back and to one day sit rocking on the front porch wondering how many minutes you've both got left.....
...not to spoil it for you but your kid will be sitting with that watch someday thinking the same thing while your grandson rubs his hands together and drools.

You should never wear your Rolex. Keep it in a safe. Or, if you don't want to wear it in the pool, sauna, steam room, etc., send it to me. I will take good care of it for you.

Assuming your Exp II is new (which it probably is since you got it at an AD) then you should be good. I've had similar comments on vintage watches I've purchased but that's simply due to the fact that they're much older, not pressure tested, don't have triple lock seal, etc.

In any case I personally take off my watch to shower simply because I like cleaning my wrist (since it's on there 98% of the time...)

No problems whatsoever.

After all, it's Batman.

Seriously, I've work all of my Rolex models in saunas, steam, hot tubs, ocean etc. Rolex is built to be very durable. Some are even built to go to the bottom of the ocean and to the tops of mountains ( and have been in space, in high G force jet fighters, etc).

Since the dishwasher is now a viable option to clean your Rolex... I'd not worry too much about the steam room or sauna.
