G-Shock experts - help setting analog time

I purchased an inexpensive g-shock (GAS100B-102) for an upcoming trip. I have set all timekeeping functions - city code and digital time is correct. However, the analog hands are off by several hours and minutes. I can manually set the hands to correct time as per the instructions but when I hit button A to exit timekeeping function, the hands return to an incorrect time. Any help please!

Haha!! I’ve got a rare In4mation x GShock which as well as time zones, alarms, moonphase and stopwatches has a high and low tide feature. I have watched videos, read the instructions and studied online and I still can’t figure it out!!!

These guys can be complicated to set, I used to mess with this one on boring midnight shifts. While it will set itself correctly every night I still messed with it knowing that if I screwed it up it would correct itself the next night.

If it is anything like my old digital/analog G-Shock, I believe that you can reset the hands of your watch back to 12o'clock manually by proceeding as follows:

From the Timekeeping Mode:

1. Hold down the A button (top left) for about five seconds until [12:00] flashes on the display (this enables adjustment of the hour and minute hands).

2. If the hour hand and minute hand are not at 12 o’clock, use the D (bottom right) and B (top right) buttons to align them.

3. Press the A button (top left) to exit the setting screen.

The hands should now match the digital time displayed on your watch.

Hope this helps some of you stuck in the same situation.
