My wife and I were in Australia a few years ago and love the country and the people.

The loss of life and the ecological disaster that the fires have caused is beyond incomprehensible with estimates of half a billion animals dead and many more likely as their habitat is gone.

There are no words to describe how sad we feel as this disaster continues to devastate Australia.

Oh wow, when or rains it pours, literally. Too much of anything isn't good, however, I'm thrilled to see this and hope it can solve / prevent the original issue.
