Hi all,

My watch collecting in 2019 got a little bit out of control, and I have close to 30 watches right now, which is ridiculous. Since there's no way to wear that many watches with any sort of regularity, I've decided to consolidate my collection and focus on pieces that I know will get wrist time.

I bought this yellow gold 1680 Submariner in August of 2019 from Fourtane, a very reputable dealer of both new and vintage Rolex watches in Carmel, CA. It's an awesome watch, but I just don't wear it much -- I literally have probably worn it fewer than 5 times since purchasing it.

I'm no expert on vintage watches, so I'm not going to comment on condition beyond what the dealer told me. The bracelet is original, as is the dial. The hands and bezel are service replacements and have lume that glows. The watch was recently serviced at Rolex. The serial number dates it to 1978.

I'm selling the watch and the two additional bracelet links that came with it. I'm guessing that with the links, the watch should fit at least a 7.5" wrist. There are no boxes and papers that come with the watch.

I'm asking $45,000. Pricing vintage watches is always difficult, but this a very fair price based on other listings I've seen. I'm a reasonable person and am always open to a fair discussion about price, but please don't waste your time or mine with crazy lowball offers.
