Just received today from Brian at BoxerTime! Flawless transaction, highly recommend him. Been wanting to add this to the collection for a while, super glad I did. One link removed and a perfect fit.

Thanks man! That meteorite of yours is pretty bad-ass as well!

How you liking the size and fit? I'm shocked at how comfortable this watch is. I forget it's on sometimes which is hard to believe given its size. Omega leather straps are like butter!

It comes only on 43.5mm's.

I thought 43.5 would be too big for me but it actually looks perfect.

Whenever I look and ponder it against the standard PO colour lineup, I know I made the right call buying the LE at a slight premium. The red and blue is the best colour combo I've come across in a PO.

I never in a million years would have thought I could pull off a 44 with my skinny 6.75" wrists...but the lug to lug I think is only 50mm, which makes it possible. I had been wanting that watch for a few years, I think it was the watch that actually got me into watches, but I had never seen one in person...and man did I look. Any time I was anywhere with an Omega AD, I popped in and inquired about it. Most had never seen it before, and no one even hinted at the idea of ordering it. So when I saw it in Scottsdale, I was blown away, and although I verified the authenticity of a "cheaper" grey one online, that dial just didn't do it for me since all the meteorite ones are different. I've flipped quite a few watches in my limited time collecting, but this one is for sure a keeper. If it had better water resistance, I dare say it could be an only! The other thing I like is that it's understated and goes unnoticed, which helps it pull off multiple attires.

I concur - very easy on the eyes! I love the rubber strap, too. I think that's what sells it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did it come with both SS bracelet AND strap? What a concept, being able to switch out straps...who woulda thought?

The Omega stated diameters of their watches is so deceiving. The case is measured, not the dial/bezel. Yes the case, including crown guards, is 44.25 mm but the dial/bezel does not extend nearly that far. I measured mine with calipers and it should be exactly the same size as yours. The width of the bezel comes in at 41.6 mm which is close to perfect in my book. The eyes see the bezel and dial, not the crown guard or rounded sections of the case. These watches really wear closer to a 41 mm watch. You made the right call buying the one your did. If you got the other you would have never been able to "unsee" the lesser dial. I like how they used a black date window for that watch too, looks great. I'm smitten with mine as well and am considering letting one of my Rolex's go if I find I'm still not wearing it in a few months. For now this Speedy is getting all of my wrist time. My Sea Dweller is not happy with me

The modern classic, back on its bracelet. I was super excited to put it on a snoopy strap I ordered, but they gave me the wrong size deployant.

Yes, came with both, 2 extra sets of spring bars and a spring bar tool. And yes, I've already make a small scratch on the back of the lugs.

They were produced in 2016. I was surprised the AD still had it on display. I see a few grey market ones around and saw a pre owned one for a good price.
