Rolex UK Service Centre turnaround times
Sent my 214270 in for a service from my AD on the 19th January only to have a phone-call from the AD to say it was completed and back with them on the 12th February!!!
Guarantee Card confirmed service completed on the 10th February. In 25 years of Rolex ownership (probably at least 6/7 services across different watches), never had a watch serviced and returned so quickly. Normally it was anywhere between 8 - 12 weeks. Now down to 3..... Based on my previous experience I'm somewhat surprised or should I be?? I appreciate Rolex have upped their game & capacity over the years. Anyone had the same experience of such a quick turnaround??

Yep. Less this 4 weeks for a service on my 1665 since they upgraded their facilities.
11 years ago, it took them nearly 16 weeks Last edited by Jimmy 1665; 14 February 2020 at 09:31 PM.. Reason: Typos |

I never got a call for a breakdown of the service so if I was you I'd assume all is good and there are no additional items for you outside the fixed service cost.

No not magic. It would only be magic if I sent in an Explorer and got a Daytona back
Now that would be magic.....

Hmm... I was told I would receive a call (Or an email someone else here said as I didn't go to RSC directly) asking if I wanted to proceed as I wasn't given an exact price, between 650 and 800 they said depending on what needed doing as my minute sub dial was randomly not moving.

It was pointless me buying all the extra watches then so I have something to wear when 1 goes off for a service.
It use to take 3-4 months! |

Suffice to say I was quoted a set price of £550 before the watch was sent away with the caveat that I may get a call if there are additional issues i.e. crystal or the crown. These seem to be the most common fixes on top of the standard service. I believe £550 is the standard service cost for a watch in the professional range. I queried it because I paid £495 about a year ago for a service on my 16600 so my AD showed me Rolex literature with the service cost now at £550.
