Any rolex which has been 'lucky' for you ?

I have quite a few rolex watches. Call it superstition or what but my 'rabit's foot' or a '4 leaf clover' is my 1993 GMT - II. Not only it has been 'lucky' for me when submitting price quotations but has prevented me from boarding a plane which crashed. Well the watch was left in my hotel room and I decided to take taxi back hence missing the flight !!

That was a close call Imran!! I´m glad your lucky Rolex was of help!
I have not been saved by any of my Rolex, but have one which I always use in the night of the 24th of December, and on the 25th, and also the night of the 31st of December and the 1st of January.
I repeat this custom since I got the watch as a present from my wife, about 27 years ago.
It´s a full gold (watch and bracelet) model Date (Ref 1501).
May be this is my "good luck" watch.

Abel what a beautiful watch and in such a fine condition. You must be a connoisseur for keeping it like that !

That plus my hair is starting to regrow and the flatulence has abated.

Thank you Imran!
Actually I´m not a connoisseur, non collector either, but just a watch lover, and specially a fan of Rolex.
My watch shows some scratches and little "scars" anyway, as it is impossible not to scratch a watch when using, though I try to put some care with this piece. But to enjoy the watch is the primary goal, isn´t it?
Thanks for your comment, and I wish your Rolex will keep being a good luck object for you!
Kind regards, Abel

Yes, my Platty and the SS Sub-date have been both very lucky for me in many ways.

The SS Sub was gifted by a very good member on TRF and it came with such good "karma" all the way.

Bluesy, on the other hand, has had its ups and down.....mainly downs.
