Rolex Daytona post 2016 winding noise

I have both and SS Daytona from 2013 and and newer rose gold from 2017. My SS is dead silent when winding it manually but the RG makes a small clicking noise like some other watches I have. Was wondering if anyone knew why or if its simply minor rotar adjustments over time that cause the slight difference.

Is the watch in need of a wind? I feel that they become more grainy to give you and indication that it’s already fully wound. Let the reserve power down and then give it a go. If it’s not smooth enough for your liking but still keeping accurate time, I’d wait until service and voice your concern to the RSC
