STOLEN - 1983/84 5513 Sub. 8098071

The watch was a gift from my father, I would appreciate any help of the Rolex community to keep an eye out for it in your travels.

1983/84 Rolex 5513 sub serial 8098071.

Thanks!

Noted. Did you contact Rolex Service with the serial number? They will hold the watch if it ever shows up for service.

(212) 758-7700 is Rolex USA. Ask for service and report.

Also worth putting it on a register here in the uk, called, funnily enough ‘The Watch Register’

https://www.thewatchregister.com/register-loss/

Believe this is world wide.

Not that it matters — but how did it happen?

The area and some info on the watch may help.

Just adding that Rolex will request a copy of your police report so get that beforehand.

As someone mentioned, put it on the watch registry. I personally would appreciate it as I use it to suss-out stolen watches before I buy something. I think it may be for free if you're the victim.

Very sad to hear that. It will be better if you let us know where and when exactly did it happen?
