Wow! Beautiful. So what reference/time period do you need? Is that supposed to go with a TT?

That surface just pops with the polychromatic hues of the varnished wood. Envy...

Would love to see crisp closeups of the dial after you take it out of the blister pack prior to installation.

All gold 16008 is what it should go into, but I have different plans I'm also not quite comfortable with spending that much just yet.
Might get that anyway down the line as it would certainly look great and I love YG

Originally it is only allowed to put into the 16008 DateJust with smooth bezel & jubilee, 18k YG.
It would look good in two tone as well but I'm no two tone fan.

I'm thinking of getting a crisp 16200, which is a smooth bezel, then a colour matching high quality suede strap (hodinkee maybe, or custom), Rolex buckle, then this dial with gold hands.

I've seen smooth bezel stainless watches with gold indexes and hands, they look great IRL. Purists might want to assassinate me though

Oh there will be many close-up shots, but I'm not taking it out just yet, I now double sealed it with vacuum bags. Moisture is killing for these dials as the wood can warp.

Oh and of course, the watch will be getting a platinum crown, because that is how I roll.
