Ask anyone and they will tell you that they work hard. Look around and you will see that you work harder than everyone else. Hmmm... It's more than hard work.
There has to be more:

A plan
An awareness
Help from others
A good mentor
Recognition from higher ups
Support
High expectations to live up to
Special talents, skills, training, know how

It's more than hard work. Everybody works hard but not everyone is successful. If you know someone who deserves more, give them what they need in order for them to realize their potential to earn their own success.

I'm a firm believer in timing. One action at the wrong time can have catastrophic results while the same action at the right time can propel your success. I think if you are a hard worker and pay attention to the right timing when it presents itself, your chances of being "successful" increase greatly. I know when I look at my past, it seems like I was just at the right time at the right place...however, I wouldn't have been there is I wasn't working my tail off.

Dr. Martin E. P. Seligman, Penn Psychology Professor, former President of the American Psychological Association and founder of the Positive Psychology movement, has a wonderful web site, www.happier.com. (Dr. Seligman is the author of Authentic Happiness, What You Can Change . . . And What You Can't and Learned Optimism.) Use of this web site is free and individuals who have utilized it over time report greater success and subjective feelings of well-being in all facets of their lives (and pre and post testing scores confirm this). A great way to increase personal efficacy which in turn will affect your degree of success. The information imparted on this site is predicated upon rigorous scientific research. See what you think.

Enthusiasm, passion, the background knowledge and hard work,in whatever you do, is the key to success.

Grab the chances that get your way !!

I cannot stand people who never get excited about anything !! Thats just plain dull !! Destined to do ................ nothing !!!

Blessed are those that expect nothing."A sense of entitlement" gets you nowhere.... and then usually they blame others because they themselves are too pathetic to do it in the first place !!

Live within your means !!

Never be dishonest in business and in life

and then when it comes to finances,so wonderfully highlighted by the current crisis ..................

Cash is King !!! .. Always,always,always !!!!!!!
