Regarding insert recommendations, the redback is correct for that watch. I personally would need to know the case SN matches the Mk1 dial, as there are many pieced together out there and that diminishes the value substantially. Based on the price, I would guess the hands are a later replacement from the service, without documentation to prove otherwise. I would still wait for the case SN and lug pics and share when you get them.

Watch looks fairly nice. Dial is acceptable in a 2.8 serial range. Probably with a 70 caseback. Hands seem to match and bracelet is what you would expect. I would guess the faded insert is most correct for the era. Might be the original one. Overall a pretty nice GMT to wear and enjoy.

In todays market I think you could bargain the price a bit more. No one else is buying.

I’ve just seen this piece. I believe I sold it. OP feel free to DM. It’s a special piece.

I’ve just checked. I sold the watch on the right, or at least a Mk1 with that exact bezel. It went to Northern Europe after RSC service. I have a load of images of it. Happy to confirm serial no. with OP.

Hmm yes, you're right. Different shape of these crown guards.. could it be the angle of the photo?

Quick suggestion is for you to edit the SN pic, so not all numerals are displayed. I’ll look at them more in a bit.

This is a hi-res version of the serial. Does it match?

In the image with serial number, the bezel appears to have been removed? Also the fonts look different to mine although could be angle. You need better images.

One of the watches in the photos looks really nice. I hope that's the one the OP receives when he buys it.

I sold the watch after having it sent to RSC in London. It was most probably unpolished until that point. Have a look at my sales post (link above). It was a fabulous piece.

OP- I'm assuming you've sorted the photo situation out to your satisfaction. You need to be comfortable you can trust the seller and know which watch you're getting. If you're comfortable it's the one previously owned by rootbeer, it looks like a good piece.
