Just Saw 8 SS Daytonas @ Torneau

Hello. I just saw 8 SS Daytonas at Torneau at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I walked by and had to take a double take. They had one black and 2 white dials. I was surprised the others were in a varying states of bling. I'm not that familiar with tricked out Daytonas. They may have had more in the store. I just noticed these in the main window. Did not have time to ask for prices. Also saw several of the new bigger Day Dates in gold. They sure looked big, but I'm used to the old school DD, DJ.

Sounds like there was only 3 S/S Daytona's and the other 5 were of the White gold variety.

You would think that Tourneau would not carry a S/S FrankenDaytona.

Maybe some were white gold. Most of the others had leather bands and bezels with diamonds and other stones. 3 for sure were regular daytonas. I know that because I wear one.

They were all new. Give them a call if interested. Maybe previous posters were correct, maybe they were white gold. I'm not a fan of tricked out bling type Rolexes and don't pay much attention to them, I usually walk right by them. I should know better because I own one. Anyway it's a big store they may have had more inside.

I'm going Vegas in few weeks time ,

I tried 3 SS daytona at a AD last year and bought one, a few weeks ago I saw 4 SS black daytona and tried out the ross gold at my AD, but bought the GV instead.

I think with this economy I will only buy one, if is 20% off MSRP.

when i went to vegas an "AP arnold all stars" was 125k.. msrp only 55k...

and everything else i looked at was way over msrp and they didnt mind one bit telling you it was over msrp.. i bet they wanted 15k each for the steel ones..

probably only had 3 SS daytonas. I don't think I have seen any SS daytonas with diamonds even if it was an aftermarket project. Still, having 8+ daytonas is a feat within itself for most dealers.

Not to hijack the thread. That Tourneau had the worst customer service, even worse than a couple of BB that I visited.

Not to mention that they want $16,000 for a SS Daytona.

Whatever.

That is my favor store for "Looking at Watches and try them on" only. Their prices are OVER MSRP! Last spring, I won some money and enough for me to purchase a TT YM Midsize. I was there in Vegas with friends, and got an O.K. from wife to pull a trigger. However, they want it for like 5% over MSRP while just a week before I was in New York and one of the AD there discount 7% of MSRP! I didn't buy the watch, but I'd better off bought it since I lost half of my win $$$$ back!: dummy:

2+1=8 'Stainless Steel' Daytonas. I guess mathematics is a universal language and how it is used varies from one person to another.

Note: I have 3 manipulatives on my table now, but I just can't seem to turn them into 8 manipulatives.

could have simply been they rotate them daily.....

when i went on Saturday i saw the black + white in the window and they had another black in the case.
