Have a lot of friends in NYC, spoke to one over the phone today he’s in brooklyn. One of my favourite cities on earth. Be safe my friend

I live on long island, the giant island that protrudes off into the atlantic from NY. I've never seen the city so empty. Even seven 11 will close for a few weeks, bizarre. I have to say its terrifying being so close to the epicenter of this virus. Havent been to a store, besides a gas station for weeks, with gloves and dowsing with spray disinfectant afterwards. Definitely saving money but utterly terrified to go anywhere right now. I have to work one week on one week off, and dont want to go back in until this virus is over. Respirator time anywhere public until this passes. Stay safe out there!
