Not sure what happened to my initial question--so reposting it

Hello All--new member here! My BF loves watches (as I'm sure you can tell by my name) He casually mentioned recently that he does not own a watch winder and I would like to pick one up for him. It would meed to be compatible with Rolex, Breitling & Omega watches.

I have no idea what is a "good" brand, make, etc? Can anyone guide me ormakeany recommendations?

I figured this would be a great place to check...So thanks in advance and the more feedback the better..

PS I would imagine that one that holds 2 watches at a time would be sufficient...

The best brand is Orbita...but they are not cheap. Great quality, silent, very power efficient (many models run on batteries that last two years).

Don't get the cheapie ones you see - they look great and the price is very inexpensive, but they'll just break on you within a year.

I think many would agree that Orbita is the very best made when it comes to winders.

I have purchased several on eBay with no issues.

Good luck!

Ok thanks --is there a HUGE difference between the ones that do multiple watches? I want something NICE but I'm not trying to spend $500 either...

I think they are a waste of money, I'd rather spend the money on another watch....a nice watch case that holds 10 watches is what my wife got me and I love it! For a winder, nothing beats orbita.

Bought an Eilux winder from qualitytyme.net. Eilux winders are NOT cheap, but are very high quality and you definitely get what you pay for.

I have a 6 winder Orbita and it is great... and it is similar to this. However, I don't think I would do it over again. I am inclined to agree with SLS... JMO.
