Royal Oak 15450 dial dimension
Does anyone know what the diameter of the 15450 dial is? I’ve read some cons that the dial appears too small even though the watch itself wears larger than its 37mm. Is the Daytona dial larger or smaller for comparison? I’m considering trying to get one and any input is greatly appreciated!

Don't have the exact dimensions but yes the dial looks smaller than Daytona in comparison. I've tried the model on and in addition to the small dial, another reason why the watch looks small is that it is the same thickness/depth as the 15400.
So if you look at pictures of the watch straight down and close up, it actually looks okay. However, if you tilt it at all, which is naturally how most people will view their watch, the depth of the case makes it look even smaller because you won't see the full dial when tilted even at slight angles due to the depth. Hopefully that makes sense. |

Thanks. Surprisingly, the diameter is exactly the same as that of a Daytona. Do you feel the dial appears small from a distance or certain angles? I have a 6.25” or 16 cm flat wrist. 15500 or 15450? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

You should not buy the 15500 with a 6.25

i don’t think so, but i’ve also worn this daily for nearly two years so i don’t have anything to compare to haha my wrist is actually also around 6.25”, not sure what flat means but the top is about 2”. i’d definitely say the 15450 is the way to go for this wrist size, the 15500 is waaay bigger. here’s what the 15400 looks like on me, was lucky to get to try this on before buying mine. |

I have tried both the 15450 and the 15500 on at length. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and the 15500 is FAR too big. Your 6.25 inch wrist is the perfect size for the 15450 in my opinion. The dial on the 15450 is a tiny bit too small but not a deal breaker. In my opinion, the 15450 is made for your sized wrist. Good luck!

I have 6.4" wrist, I have both 37mm and 41mm AP.
37mm seems a bit too small and 41mm seems a bit too big. After wear them for awhile, I like 41mm a lot better. 15500OR (41mm) on my wrist: |

I measured and compared my 15450 dial to the BLNR dial and it's about the same size.. that's why I don't get everybody and their "the dial is way too small for it"

Everybody has their own opinion as to what looks best for them and that's all that matters. My wrist is a little under 7", and a 37mm watch would look tiny to me and I'd never wear one, but then I'm used to, and prefer, bigger watches. The 15500, however, definitely wears/looks bigger than the 41mm would suggest due to the dial, and appears bigger than the 15400.
